Endeavor Agency (www.endeavorCRE.com) is a commercial real estate talent agency providing high touch recruitment services throughout California and major western US cities. Endeavor has engaged with a privately held, growing real estate development and investment company seeking a Vice President, Development and Asset Management to lead the operations of their Arizona region. This role will manage the company’s assets in Arizona and work in collaboration with the SVP and President of Real Estate to develop the strategic plan for the region and ultimately be responsible for the region’s success. This role will report to the SVP, Development and Asset.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Vice President on the development of regional strategy.
- Develop and implement property-level strategies to be consistent with regional strategy and
- company objectives.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, including construction
- of new buildings, capital expenditure projects and tenant improvements.
- Select architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants required for the project,
- including reviewing proposals, negotiating terms of agreements and drafting contracts.
- Manage architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Create budgets and construction calendars and manage development progress to ensure all
- projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Interface with the company’s accounting department to manage all accounting aspects of the
- assigned region.
- Oversee the leasing process including interfacing with brokers, negotiating proposals and leases
- as well as evaluating credit worthiness of prospective tenants.
- Manage regional portfolio to maximize long-term cash flow.
- Oversee loan compliance related to leasing requirements and manage all other property level
- financing compliance.
- Collaborate with Sr. Vice President and CFO on property level financing requirements for new loans and refinancings.
- Develop and maintain active relationships with real estate brokers and other third parties.
- Oversee the creation and presentation of annual budgets for the assigned region.
- Source, qualify and present new acquisition and development opportunities to the SVP
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, finance, economics, or similar.
- Master’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in architecture, development, urban planning, business, finance, economics, or accounting.
- Minimum 10 years Real Estate Development and Asset Management experience, and an appropriate amount of experience managing high-performing teams.
- Relevant leadership experience in commercial real estate development.
- Excellent knowledge of Argus and Microsoft Apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
