The VP Account Management and Business Development is responsible for driving the PRX business development strategy and for delivering a best in class PBM account management strategy with a singular goal of fostering a deep level of partnership with clients. Leads the sales and account teams to ensure that PRX is recognized as the PBM of choice in its target markets and industry consultants. Responsible for increasing the profitability of existing PRX products and services to their maximum potential. Strives to maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention of all clients both external and internal ACFC clients.
The VP Account Management and Business Development will lead business development efforts to ensure achievement of set goals by conducting and utilizing competitive intelligence. Responsible for ensuring membership growth and earnings targets for PRX are met by identifying opportunities for sales, profitable ventures, and upsell opportunities. Ensures that trends in the marketplace are identified and that PRX makes and executes on plans to be ahead of the competition. Collaborates with the management team in the clinical and operational areas to ensure that PRX is offering competitive product and services.
The VP Account Management and Business Development will lead the marketing and proposals team to ensure timely delivery of effectively prepared RFP/RFI responses and oversees the creation and execution of PRX’s annual marketing plan.
Education/ Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Master’s Degree, preferred
+ Required; business or healthcare related field preferred
+ PharmD or RPh a plus
+ 10 or more years PBM Industry experience with demonstrated understanding of all elements of PBM functions
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Experience leading account management function preferred
+ Experience leading sales function preferred.
