We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our Internal Medicine Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for veterinary medicine, strong technical skills, and a desire to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a proactive approach to supporting our team in delivering specialized medical care to a diverse range of cases.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and procedures related to internal medicine.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas to ensure a clean and organized environment.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including blood draws, catheter placements, and radiography.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing education and support regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient workflow within the department.
- Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in veterinary internal medicine.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, preferably in an internal medicine setting.
Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) is preferred, but not required.
Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
