Veterinary Receptionist - Touhy Animal Hospital

Touhy Animal Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Reception team! Our CSRs serve a vital role as the first and last point of contact with a client and their pet. As the face of the hospital, they greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

In this role, you will schedule and manage the flow of appointments, provide empathetic customer service while multi-tasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients, process financial transactions, answer inquiries, and provide essential information about the services we provide. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in fast-paced customer service, who are friendly and outgoing, able to speak Polish, detail-oriented, excellent at multi-tasking, and committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.

This is a full-time, or part-time position, must be able to work until 5p or 7p for the closing shift. Availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Required qualifications and skillset:

• 1-3 years of client service experience
• Polish Speaking highly desired
• Previous veterinary experience is a plus!
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Clear and concise communication between clients as well as the team
  • Face to face sales experience
  • Organization with phone lines, and other correspondents
  • Daily assignments and scheduling
  • Assisting in team training and leading by example
