Veterinary Receptionist (Client Liaison) - Sactown Vet

Sactown Vet is a new (we just turned one!) animal hospital in the heart of midtown. We are a Fear-Free and Cat-Friendly hospital looking to change the veterinarian experience. We want animals AND their humans to be comfortable here, and that's where the client liaison comes in. What the heck is that, you ask? It's a unique position for someone who loves people AND animals. 

Our client liaison will be responsible for making sure clients in the hospital are happy, taken care, and in-the-loop with what's going on with their pets.  You will be asked to be with clients if they are emotional during visits, text clients pictures of their pets who are staying for procedures, updating clients who have been waiting a long time, offering coffee and water... and doing whatever it is to make them feel comforted and just a little bit happier. You will be in charge of performing intake as well (obtaining vitals and getting a quick history). Also, you will help charge out clients and schedule follow up appointments. 

The right candidate for this position is warm, empathetic and friendly. This candidate needs to know how to "read the room" (going from a happy puppy visit to comforting sad people during a euthanasia is not easy!). The right candidate must be able to collect vitals and be able to obtain a basic history of pets for this position. Must be someone who loves engaging with clients and being with dogs and cats.
