Practice: Cats Preferred is a cat-only vet clinic located in Plymouth and serving the Minneapolis metro area, dedicated to gentle care and the well-being of cats. Our gentle care is provided in a quiet “no bark” environment. Everything from the exam rooms to the surgery suite and boarding area has been set up strictly with cats in mind. Virtually every surface is laminate rather than stainless steel, and exams are performed with the veterinarian and owner seated to place cats at ease. Both our treatment and boarding facilities have large windows for the cats’ enjoyment. We strive to provide your cat with a minimal-stress environment for its visit or stay at the hospital. We hope to help you enjoy a special relationship with your cat for many years.Position Purpose: Cats Preferred Veterinary Hospital in Plymouth, Minnesota is growing, and we’re looking for an associate DVM to join the journey! We are a feline-only practice led by 4 experienced veterinarians supported by an expansive team of skilled CVTs, technician assistants, and a receptionist. This solid doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio ensures that our DVMs are never without an extra hand and can always focus on their most important tasks. We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels who are looking to practice high-quality feline medicine. Our hospital is equipped with all the modern necessities for our doctors to succeed and grow. This would provide a wonderful opportunity for any new graduates, as our current DVM team is enthusiastic and willing to mentor! Full and part-time positions available. About the area: Plymouth is located just twelve miles northwest of Minneapolis. It offers extensive trails and parks, picturesque open spaces, highly regarded neighborhoods and school systems, and a variety of local businesses/restaurants. It is home to multiple water bodies for any avid boaters, anglers, and beachgoers.
