Job Details
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing general veterinary services to a variety of small animals, including some exotics.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations on animals to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Performing routine surgeries, including spaying and neutering, dental procedures, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Prescribing medication and administering treatments to animals as needed.
- Educating pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and updating client information.
- Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to provide the best possible care to animals.
- Participating in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of experience in general practice and routine surgery.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
- Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state.
