- Must be comfortable working in Microsoft Office applications. Highly proficent in Computers
- Not a sit down job, inspects and re-packs confidential mailings. Reviews work to ensure it meets specifications
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate completion of client projects throughout the production process. This individual must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to identify variances in printed and inserted output, according to client specifications.
Individual will be responsible for most of the day to day paperwork, quality control, and reporting as it relates to individual daily programs. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of Direct Mail, security compliance, and postal regulations. This position may also be exposed to PHI information and must treat the materials in accordance to HIPAA regulations. Individual must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Position Responsibilities (not limited to):
1. Review and validate Quality of Job Specifications, digitally printed output and insertion, in accordance with Quality Control standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily jobs.
2. Setup Initial Job jackets for 150 - 250 jobs, per day, for daily projects.
3. Perform ongoing Quality checks throughout the production cycle to ensure accurate completion of live work.
4. Ensure all paperwork (orders) is accounted for, completed and logged accurately in accordance with the requirements.
5. Oversee and review insert tracking system effectiveness and accuracy to ensure all pieces are tracked, as required.
6. Perform Postal Functions as required for marking jobs complete and produce daily reports for completed work.
7. Identify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies or ambiguities in the specifications and identify primary processing steps, or tasks, that are required to complete a project. Escalate as needed for further resolution/reporting.
Required Skills: *
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects/tasks at any given time with a high sense of urgency, prioritizing and during allotted time constraints
* Able to understand the customer's unique needs and be able to make and present recommendations and alternatives to the team
* Must be a team player, believing there is always a better way and embracing process improvement initiatives
* Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) * Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
* Must adhere to ISO 9001:2008 policies and procedures
* Must be able to work overtime as needed
Education and/or Experience: High school education is required plus 6 months 1 year in a quality-oriented production environment. Direct Mail experience is a must.
