How You Will Make An Impact:
The Route Supervisor coordinates and supervises the activities of Route Drivers with the purpose of efficiently transporting and merchandising vending products to customers. This position also assists with operations and customer satisfaction functions. Some of the essential job duties are:
- Enhance customer relations through professional and friendly customer service
- Address customer complaints as they arise, responding to customer needs and requests promptly
- Visit key accounts regularly to identify customer needs and issues
- Troubleshoot basic service issues while onsite
- Be familiar with routes and provide relief to drivers, as needed
- Optimize routes and customer accounts in our vending management system
- Run reports and analyze route data
- Maintain planograms within the vending management system
- Work to reduce waste and maximize time between vending and market visits
- Assist with managing training and safety programs
- Perform routine ride alongs with drivers
- Assist with scheduling new driver training and development
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2+ years experience as a full-service vending route driver or similar
- Experience managing and training teams
- Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Valid driver's license (standard operator's license, CDL not required)
- Minimum of five (5) years safe driving experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work early morning hours starting at 5am, Monday thru Friday
- Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver 25 lbs. while loading/unloading product from truck. Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. Also requires bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and extended walking.
