Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: + Operates vehicles to pick up and deliver items or passengers. + Adheres to traffic regulations. + Assists in loading and unloading transported items. + Periodically checks the operating condition of the vehicle and notifies appropriate area when repairs or maintenance is needed. + Refuels vehicle as required. + Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent. + A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. + One year of experience driving a van, truck, or equivalent vehicle. + Positions in this classification may require eight hours of defensive driving training, CPR certification, and/or the completion of a body mechanics course. + The ability to lift up to 30 pounds. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + CDL with P Endorsement NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
