Summary
Maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and customers. Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the vehicles in sound working condition, and helps managers as requested.
Essential Duties
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Uses good judgment and safe driving skills Maintains a professional appearance.

- Building and Ground Maintenance
Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.
Delivers keys, books and any required accessories to office personnel for stocking
Places stock tags in vehicles
Catalogs and stores keys
Keeps vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the sales manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc. as needed.
Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
Evaluates cleanliness and fuel needs daily and addresses any problems or concerns.
Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed. Maintains proper battery log on all new vehicles.
Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department. Makes sure showroom and delivery bay are free of clutter, and refrigerators kept stocked with water.
Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, wash bay and parking lot as needed.
Washes and cleans customer and dealership vehicles
Valets and assists clients into their vehicles as requested with a friendly demeanor and smile
Installs license plates and frames when requested by sales department
Cleans the service and customer areas
Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
Wash all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout the service area.
Mops and cleans service waiting area, offices, technicians' locker room and lunchroom, halls, and shop bathroom.
Sweeps technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls, and vending areas.
Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines.
Removes all debris from lot.
Maintains yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers. Waters flower beds and removes debris.
Runs errands as directed by foreman.
Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
Marginal Duties
Assists transportation department when needed.
Other duties may be assigned.

- Valid Driver’s license and acceptance by the dealership’s Insurance Company as required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Some weekdays and Saturdays. Some full day shifts, morning shifts and afternoon shifts.
Pay: Hourly $16 to $18 per hour based on prior experience.
