VDC Detailer from Catapult Staffing

We are seeking a VDC Detailer to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for producing fabrication spool drawings, detailed rack drawings, CAD as-builts and CAD files for our CNC machine.

What you’ll do:

• Create files in BobCad for the CNC machines

• Create underground spacers for underground conduit packages

• As-built drawings from project teams

• Create cut lists for steel products

• Design rack drawings

• Be involved in project builds

• Attend meetings with PreFab group and project teams

• Produce fabrication spool drawings

• Utilize BIM software to model electrical systems

• Reading job specifications and drawings

• Be able to put in the time and effort necessary

• Self-driven with desire to learn

• Knowledge of AutoCAD

• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Google platforms

• Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks or any other BIM software (preferred)
