Responsibilities:In this role, you will perform scene investigations, vehicle inspections and collect evidence used to determine the root cause of vehicle accidents, complete a full analysis and then provide your findings to interested parties in both verbal and written reports. In addition, you will be called upon, at times, to present your findings in a court of law where you will demonstrate your expertise in front of a judge and jury. Throughout each investigation you will be supported by a team of top-notch professionals prepared to assist you.
Qualifications:- You must be a licensed, Professional Engineer with 10+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, or specific vehicle accident reconstruction expereience.
- Be ACTAR (Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction) accredited, or be able to acquire ACTAR accreditation soon after hire.
- Be physically able to crawl under cars and trucks and other vehicles, and perform scene investigations.
- Significant experience in automotive engineering may be considered in lieu of a professional engineer’s license, if you are able to obtain a license soon after hire.
