Due to expansion, Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is adding a new full-time Van Driver to our Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in Avon, Indiana. This job requires 40 hours per week.

Essential duties include:

• You will use a Cummins van to transport consumers to and from scheduled appointments at the Outpatient office. On occasion you will also provide courier services to various Cummins facilities.
•  Flexibility between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm due to group sizes varying and appointment times. Start/ Stop times could change due to this.
•  You must maintain company vehicles in a safe and clean manner and report any maintenance needs to the Director of Environmental Services immediately upon identification.

To qualify:

• You must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Driver's License, endorsement 2 For Hire and maintain current certification in CPR.
• You will participate in non-violent crisis intervention training, (CPI) as required.

• You must possess a positive attitude and be able to work well with staff and consumers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrate abilities to help aid people with mental illness and/or be open to receiving training on how to manage those who struggle with mental illness. Excellent driving record.

• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making, ability to perform duties with limited supervision.

• Ability to provide courteous customer service to consumers and other staff members.
• Ability to follow corporate guidelines related to personnel policies and procedures.
