Valve Crew Lead - AA Asphalting, LLC

Our team provides quality workmanship and outstanding service to our customers who are represented by public utilities, government agencies, general contractors, and businesses.

We take great pride in the service and quality of work we provide to our customers and are searching for a dedicated and motivated Valve Crew Lead to join our SeaTac team!

Responsibilities Include:

• Organizes work to get the most productivity out of the crew by instructing employees where to go, what to do, and what equipment and/or materials will be needed.
• Assigns, maintains, and trains crew members to prepare flatbed each morning including gathering all necessary tools, materials, and equipment needed for the job(s).
• Orders materials daily for asphalt patching; coordinates with Operations Assistant to order correct amount of materials needed for concrete patching.
• Sets up signs, cones etc. on the jobsite, and/or instructs crew on how to complete set up.
• Supervises, oversees and trains crew to ensure work is performed properly and to AA's highest quality standards.
• Performs all aspects of the job, including general laboring and operating equipment; makes it a priority to train others in all aspects of the job.
• Ensures compliance and personally follows all safety rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines with one year of experience working on an asphalt and/or concrete crew.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude in math.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.
• Ability to travel to various worksites.
• Ability to work long hours and in all weather conditions.
