Nature and Scope of Job

USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Validation Engineer - Infrastructure to support computer system validation initiatives and spearhead a series of infrastructure qualification efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with facility Subject Matter Experts to document user requirements.
• Develop and update infrastructure qualification documentation, including User Requirements Specifications (URS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and Design Specifications (DS).
• Develop Installation Qualifications based on design.
• Develop Operation Qualifications based on functional requirements.
• Develop Performance Qualification scripts based on configuration.
• Perform test execution or lead execution activity.
• Route validation documentation.
• Manage Tasks based on aggressive timelines.
• Interact with customers at multiple sites.
• Interact in team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on Validation.
• Comprehensive understanding of computer systems validation principles, SDLC methodologies, and best practices in testing.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, GAMP, 21CFR Part11, and industry best practices.
• Ability to understand existing and new business processes and requirements to ensure proper implementation and validation of systems.
• Strong technical background.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling professional interactions with business colleagues, peers, and vendors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to timelines.
• Adaptable and quick to learn.
• Expert in MS Word.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation

Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 55.00 - 75.00

The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.

Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.

Both full and part-time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part-time employees may be eligible for paid time off.
