Summary
The Sr. Business Process Engineer is responsible foridentifying opportunities for program improvement by optimizing and streamlining sales and marketing processes. Opportunities are identified by analyzing the gaps between current and desired state processes and determiningthe greatest opportunities for improvement. Projects include a broad spectrum of functions within MarketSource (process modeling, gap analysis, change management, SOPs, optimization and best practices).
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Model sales, marketing, and other business processes utilizing software to measure processes to identify and present bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Implement corrective action for improved efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead workshops for data gathering, workflow and process mapping. Produce deliverables such as operating procedures, best practices and checklists
- Establish work measurement programs to develop standards for efficient utilization of field team and support team
- Design and implement operational methods that promote overall efficiency and reduce costs
- Leverage technology and engineering models and processes to automate procedures for efficiency and control
- Working closely with support teams to identify gaps, redundancies, ultimately optimizing and developing prescribed solutions for process improvement
- Assist decision makers to clarify their top agendas, develop effective implementation strategies to mobilize the organization, and achieve sustainable results
- Provide support at all levels of the organization, including the strategic-level enhancement of corporate readiness and response, emerging market trends, operational improvement, process improvement and applied business analytics across the people, process, and organizational components
- Participate in the delivery of complex change management programs that enhance the business and serve as a thought leader in the development of business solutions
- Possess solid process mapping and documentation experience (e.g., process mapping current and future state, executing support documentation such as SOPs, Policies & Procedures, Job Aides, Quick Start Guides, and Playbooks; gathering current state process detail from stakeholders; defining future state process detail with stakeholders; writing support documentation)
- Exhibit extensive Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement project or workshop experience (e.g., defining current state systems, metrics, reporting and training; data gathering, data analysis, and root cause analysis; benchmarking/best practice; defining future state systems, processes, metrics, reporting and training; building Change Management plans)
- Assist in the analysis, design, build-out and automation of critical and complex business processes
- Initiate proposals and provides alternatives to increase productivity to ensure continuous improvement
- Follow-up on projects and proposals to see that they are attaining desired results
- Establish work measurement programs to develop standards for efficient utilization of field team and support team
- Prepare and document business and technical requirements
- Initiate and conduct process improvement analysis (what to automate, what to change, what to eliminate)
- Perform method improvements and innovations by actively identifying performance gaps through benchmarking
- Provide technical and process guidance to less experienced and developing BPEs
- Perform other duties and projects as requested
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of Six Sigma principles such as DMAIC, statistical analysis, quality management and root cause analysis
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible and deadline-driven
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
- Must have good written, listening, and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus

- Preferred Computer Skills/ Programs: Visio, BPMN Add on, All Fusion Process Modeling Tool, Microsoft Office Suite, Signavio, Robotics Process Automation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Field of Industrial Engineering/Systems Engineering, Business or Information Technology
- 5 – 8 years Process Engineering experience; process modeling, Six Sigma, Lean Sigma
- 1-2 years Project Management experience; leading small project-oriented teams is preferred
- Four (4) in-office workdays per week and the option to work remote OR in office on fifth (5th) day.
