UX Technical Support Specialist

MUST:
3 + years' experience assisting users with the operation of their computer systems and software
3+ years' experience testing both hardware and software
3 + years' experience utilizing Jira (or similar service platform)
2 + years' experience supporting special IT projects
Understanding of UX and user research methodologies
Understanding of 508 and accessibility compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
CompTIA A+ certification
Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, PMI)
Bachelor's degree
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
DUTIES:
Provide technical support to UX team members
Analyze help desk tickets (via Jira or other service platform) and determine appropriate
Assist in review and improvement of team processes
Coordinate with internal team around asset management
Support and track project requirements of research efforts across the UX team
Meet regularly with project teams to understand current progress
Maintain IT and internal process documentation for disbursement and use across UX team
Perform independent research and provide recommendations
Support ad hoc special projects relating to internal UX team needs.
Learn customer-specific policies and processes
