Description:
- The Digital Xperience Design (DXD) team is seeking a skilled and strategic UX Strategist to lead user-centered strategy for our Business Product and Treasury Management Services groups. Reporting directly to the Head of User-Centered Design, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing UX strategy and research for key initiatives. This role supports the Design Thinking pillar within our DXD TOPS strategy—a framework that focuses on Design Thinking, Design Operations, Design Practice, and our Design System (Roxbury).
- As a UX Strategist, you'll be a strategic partner to multidisciplinary teams, aligning business goals with user needs to improve the digital experience for our clients. In this role, you'll frame and conduct UX research, lead discovery sessions, and leverage UX insights to inform design direction. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, guiding UX research and strategy across web, tablet, and mobile experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence and advance our user-centered approach as our team progresses within the UX research model.
- Strategic UX Leadership: Shape and drive UX strategy for Business and Treasury Management Services, aligning user-centered design with broader business objectives. Your work will reinforce the Design Thinking pillar within DXD's TOPS strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary UX contact for BTMS stakeholders, managing expectations, setting priorities, and advocating for insights that drive business value and improved client experiences.
- Qualitative Research and UX Insights: Frame, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, defining clear objectives, participant criteria, and methodologies. Synthesize findings into actionable UX insights and strategies.
- Design Thinking Facilitation: Lead discovery and collaborative sessions, employing Design Thinking methodologies to foster innovative solutions. Facilitate divergent and convergent thinking methods to refine and prioritize ideas with stakeholders.
- Research Execution: Conduct moderated and unmoderated user studies, both in-person and remote, selecting optimal methods based on project objectives, timeline, and resources. Partner with vendors to manage recruitment and launch studies.
- Data Synthesis and Mapping: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, triangulating insights to produce UX maps, journey maps, wireframes, and other deliverables that guide design strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior UX researchers, designers, and product teams throughout all stages of design and development. Share insights and strategies that enhance decision-making and drive user-centered solutions.
- 8 - 10 years of Proven experience in UX strategy and research for complex digital products, ideally within business and financial services.
- Strong skills in qualitative research methods, UX mapping, wireframing, storytelling, and delivery of insights to influence design strategy.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, build alignment, and advocate for user-centered solutions that reinforce DXD's Design Thinking approach.
- Experience facilitating Design Thinking sessions, with knowledge of divergent and convergent methods to support ideation and clarity.
- Proficiency in synthesizing data from multiple research sources, creating insights that bridge user needs and business goals.
