UX Designer

Location: Beaverton, OR, New York, NY, or Remote 
Schedule: 40 Hours, 4 days onsite and 1 day at home (if onsite)
Duration: ~ 12 Months
Pay: Up to $61.33/hour DOE
 
Planet Interactive is looking for a UX Designer with a strong retail background to join our well known retail brand on a 12-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will follow a hybrid work schedule, being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day at home. For the right candidate, it could potentially be remote.
 
UX Designer Responsibilities:

• Building out wireframes, prototypes, and handling user testing.
• Take full ownership of the UX design process from the ideation all the way through to final delivery.
• Ensure that the work aligns with the priorities and strategic vision.
• Develop and implement UX strategies that align with the user needs and business goals.
• Work cross-functionally with product, development, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct and oversee user research to ensure the right design choices and to validate the design concepts.
• Bring forward trends and opportunities to improve and enhance the projects.
• Bring UX design principles and design thinking to the assigned work.
• Work on design initiatives that spread across enterprise platforms.
• Act as a SME and go-to designer for a set of projects.

UX Designer Qualifications:

• 6+ years' experience in end-to-end digital product design.
• 3+ years' experience of UX design and has track record of leading design efforts.
• Experience with enterprise systems.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Portfolio showcasing case studies.
• Must have experience with Figma.
