SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of all Maintenance employees to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back of the house areas to the highest standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
- Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.
- Pick up any trash from the receptacles and/or off the floor and dispose of it properly.
- Pick up and dispose of properly all empty beer bottles and glasses.
- Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.
- Clean all gaming tables and chairs.
- Take care of all blood borne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately.
- Clean, set up and strip and wax all floor surfaces including marble polishing and/or cutting.
- Clean and/or shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed.
- Clean and/or polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures and chandeliers.
- Clean all walls, ceilings, any and all high cleaning.
- Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50lbs. or more trash bins.
- Receive inventory and deliver and put away inventory.
- Signing in and out for keys, radios and equipment on a daily basis and bringing every item back in good working condition.
- Use of positive customer service is required at all times.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
- Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
- Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
- Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
- Able to use various equipment
- Lifting and/or pulling 75lbs or more.
- Able to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School education preferred.
- 6 months experience preferred Housekeeping related work.
- Minimum age requirement is 21
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to communicate over the radio in English.
- Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Constant standing and walking, balancing, twisting, reaching and bending.
- Able to climb a ladders that measure up to 10ft tall.
- Frequent eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity, fingering, handling, wrist motion and bending/stooping.
- Frequently speaking, hearing, listening, seeing to communicate with guests and fellow employees.
- Constant mental alertness, remembering/paying attention to/observing details, making decisions; directing others; following directions; concentrating amid distractions.
- Occasionally sitting, reaching, lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs. or more, carrying, hearing, smelling and kneeling.
- Lifting/handling/carrying trash.
- Pushing and/or pulling vacuum, trash bins, and other objects as directed.
