Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of utility services to ensure uninterrupted supply and compliance with regulations.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for utility operations, forecasting future needs, and controlling costs to ensure financial efficiency.
Contract Management: Negotiate and manage commodity contracts with utility service providers, vendors, and contractors to secure favorable terms and ensure quality service.
Safety and Compliance: Implement safety protocols and emergency response plans for utility systems to protect public health and safety.
Staff Leadership: Lead and manage utility specialist and coordinate with facilities, finance and legal.
Project Management: Plan and oversee infrastructure projects, such as new clubs, fuel stations, lighting upgrades, solar systems, EV chargers etc.
Sustainability: Monitor and manage utility consumption, validating and reporting data to meet SEC reporting requirements and demand response programs.
Solar program: Management and expansion of existing and future solar systems.
Qualifications:
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Several years of experience in utility management or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $98,500.00.
