About the Job
We are seeking a skilled research specialist to join our team as a contractor, providing expertise in in vitro and in vivo techniques with a focus on neuromuscular diseases. This position will support ongoing research efforts and exploratory work, including experiments that require proficiency in in vivo work, molecular biology techniques and cell culture.

responsibilities:
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to support neuromuscular research initiatives.
- Perform cell culture, cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, providing insights to the research team.
- Maintain meticulous lab records and adhere to all laboratory safety protocols.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with in vitro and in vivo models.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with in vivo work.
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and cell culture.
- Demonstrated success in a research or lab-based setting.
Must Have Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Scientist role will be considered BS and MS degree, will consider candidates with PhD degrees
- In-vivo experience with working with rodents, handling
- Necropsy, taking tissues from rodents
- Experience with electronic notebook
- In vitro - RNA, protein, cell lines proteins.
- Graphpad experience
Nice to Have:
Dosing mice, IV or IP, Subcutaneous experience
