We are seeking a dynamic and experienced US Tax Manager/Director to join our finance team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance and risk management activities for our high net worth international clients. You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of tax strategies, ensuring compliance with international tax laws, and managing transfer pricing issues. This role requires a deep understanding of US tax filings, a keen eye for risk management, and the ability to provide top-notch service to our high net worth clients.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee all aspects of US tax compliance, ensuring all tax filings are accurate and timely.
2. Develop and implement effective tax strategies that maintain compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
3. Manage the tax risk profile of our high net worth clients, identifying potential tax risks and providing effective solutions.
4. Provide expert advice on transfer pricing issues, ensuring our clients are well-informed and compliant.
5. Manage relationships with international clients, providing excellent service and maintaining their trust and confidence.
6. Stay abreast of changing tax laws and regulations, ensuring our clients are always compliant and taking advantage of any tax benefits available.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the tax implications of business decisions are fully understood and considered.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree in Taxation is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or US Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
4. Extensive knowledge of US tax filings, international tax laws, and risk management.
5. Proven experience managing the tax affairs of high net worth clients.
6. Strong understanding of transfer pricing issues.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with international clients.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify tax risks and provide effective solutions.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
