Client - Major Financial Firm
Role - US Regulatory Rules Analyst
Rate - DOE
Duration - 4 Month Assignment (possible extension)
Location - Tampa, FL
Job Description / Responsibilities
• Support accelerated expansion of R2R governance to CCAR and other US Regulatory Forms.
• Support quarterly reporting cycles Before the Close with rule maintenance and coordination of changes across UAT/PROD environments with Operations and Technology.
• Provide Regulatory reporting SME requirements support to incorporate enhancements to the platform. This includes SME support for GENESIS, RegInsight, and Harmony development of Enterprise tools.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
• Working knowledge of banking products / systems and US Regulatory Reporting requirements.
• Experience in Financial Reporting a plus.
• Understand basic accounting and GAAP. CPA a plus.
• Strong control awareness and proven analytical skills. MBA a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
• Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Initiative, creativity and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (specifically Access, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Program management experience with creation and maintenance of schedules, metrics, and presentations. PM certification a plus.
