Position Overview:
Star Entertainment is seeking an experienced Head of Live Entertainment/Production to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the development and production of our film music concerts and cultural projects worldwide.
Responsibilities
Tour Planning:
•? ?Organize tour schedules
•? ?Communicate with all departments of each venue (production, box office, marketing)
•? ?Coordinate travel and accommodations for artists and crew
Financial Management:
•? ?Prepare and manage tour budgets
•? ?Handle daily accounting and concert revenue management
Logistical Coordination:
•? ?Oversee equipment transport
•? ?Coordinate with venues for technical needs and soundcheck schedules
Team Management:
•? ?Lead and coordinate the tour team, including technicians, musicians, and drivers
•? ?Ensure timely communication of schedules and changes
Stakeholder Liaison:
•? ?Act as the main contact between artists, promoters, venues, and suppliers
Requirements:
•? ?3+ years of experience in live entertainment production
•? ?Advanced cooperation skills with venues and experience in handling travel arrangements for A and B level celebrities
•? ?Contracting experience with vendors and staff for various needs, from AV equipment to catering
•? ?Strong project management abilities
•? ?In-depth knowledge of the music, film, sport, or theatre industries
•? ?High sense of personal responsibility, flexibility, and proactivity
•? ?Ability to work under pressure
Compensation:
•? ?Daily rate negotiable, with a per diem based on experience and qualifications
Tour Details:
•? ?The tour covers over 45 cities in the USA and Canada, with multiple border crossings.
•? ?Accommodations include hotel stays for half the dates and overnight travel on a 12-bunk tour bus for the remaining nights.
