New Urgent Care in NE Las Vegas opening Summer 2024. We are looking for someone with recent, paid experience to come and be a part of our new family. We will service ALL ages.
We are looking for Part Time and/or Full-Time staff. We will be open 7 days a week including holidays.
Bilingual Spanish and or Vietnamese gets to the top of our list!

Summary:

Duties:
- Provides outstanding customer service and delivers the highest quality patient care.
- Accurately records the details of patient demographics, insurance, and messaging in chart / EMR.
- Maintains cleanliness and supply inventory in office areas.
- Facilitate patient and provider scheduling requests, including inbound and outbound referral and/or authorizations.
- Receives phone calls from patients and other external sources, responding with appropriate actions for resolution.
- Utilizes the computer for patient inquiries, scheduling, and communication across organization.
- Understands medical front office terminology and copay/coinsurance collection requirements.
- Operates in compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other safety guidelines at all times.
- Works as a team player, focusing on patient and teammate satisfaction at all times.
- Assists with insurance precertification, surgery and diagnostic procedure scheduling, and coordinating inbound and outbound referrals, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of PAID recent (2022-2024) Front Office Experience
- Ability and willingness to be a TEAM PLAYER and family oriented
- Ability to obtain detailed information pertinent to patient's visit before, during, and after time of service and record accurately into chart / EMR
- Current ACLS/BLS certification
- Familiarity with Nevada insurance plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehension and understanding of OSHA and HIPAA requirements
- Patient-centered and team-focused approach to all tasks
- Attention to detail
Salary
14 - 17 /hour
