High School Diploma Required / Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous coaching experience
Has a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, parents, and students
Availability for all athletic practices, games, and events
Knowledge of age appropriate training techniques for the upper school level (grades 9 - 12)
Previous experience playing the sport at a high school varsity, AAU, collegiate or professional level.
Ability to increase students’ understanding of game strategy and develop players’ individual areas of growth.
Demonstrate the highest level of character and professionalism with excellent ethics
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all athletic participants.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality
Must pass a LiveScan fingerprinting background check
A clean driving record and valid California driver’s license. Will be subject to clearance through the California Motor Vehicles Report (MVR) and the standards for driving set by SHS insurance underwriters.

The hourly range for this role is $28/hr - $35/hr. This is the lowest to highest rate we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
