summary of responsibilities
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and implement engaging educational experiences that support the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Provide multimodal instruction with multiple opportunities for practice and reinforcement.
- Collaborate with parents, administrators, and support staff to promote students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students as needed to enhance their educational experience.
- Create and distribute progress reports quarterly to inform parents and guardians of student growth and areas for improvement.
- Deliver direct and indirect instructional support to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Teach academic subjects using a variety of techniques, including hands-on activities, visual aids, and differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Establish and enforce classroom expectations and procedures that create a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports on academic progress and classroom activities, in accordance with school policies and regulations.
- Develop strategies for effective communication, monitoring, and follow-up for all students in the classroom.
- Provide support and interventions for students in need, ensuring all students feel valued and included.
- Collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices and support student achievement.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement
- Teacher certification- completed or in process
