Position: Inside Sales Representative 

Location: Cerritos, CA

Pay: $54k to $55k/year

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

HB Staffing is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description: 

• Sell international ocean, air, import and export services.
• Develop, maintain and up-sell accounts within the assigned territory.
• Leverage and maintain client relationships to identify new business opportunities.
• Create sales strategies based on knowledge of the local market and competitor activities.
• Meet budget targets for revenue, profit, volume, market share and other KPIs.
• Coordinate, respond to and follow up on RFIs and RFQs.
• Track and organize all activities, meetings and correspondence with accounts.
• Ensure client satisfaction by collaborating with other departments and assisting in resolving customer inquiries and issues.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and market analysis to management.

Position Requirements:   

• Valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate sales skills.
• Knowledge of logistics, including air and ocean import/export.
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CMS (Customer Management System) principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
