Universal Banker Lead
Location - Nashua, NH
Pay - $22-$25 per hour plus incentives based on sales
The Job
The Universal Banker Lead is responsible for building relationships with members and branch team members, anticipating the needs of, and supporting all aspects of, the branch and the members served. They will demonstrate the benefits of membership by building rapport and relationships using a needs-based selling approach. They will accomplish the tasks and responsibilities associated with being a key holder for a branch location(s), including floating to alternate locations on an as-needed basis. They will have the ability to offer guidance, and mentorships to co-workers and members in the absence of a manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Engaging in all sales and service activities, including outbound efforts, to initiate, develop, and retain relationships with our members through advising members on the best products and service solutions to meet their financial goals.
- Prepares and closes various consumer loan products to include HELOCs, while educating members on Debt Protection, GAP, and MRC coverage.
- Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure a seamless and positive experience for the members, while working towards the team goals.
- Supports the needs of other branch offices by providing coverage in a variety of capacities, up to and including key holder.
- Performs other duties and tasks as required, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Member Service Manager to include performing supervisory tasks as needed.
- Responsible for opening/closing branches while observing and enforcing security practices.
- All retail employees must understand and comply with all BSA Regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of financial sales or branch leadership experience within a financial related organization to include knowledge of bank products, services, and regulations.
- A two-year college degree or extensive on-job training.
- Strong track record of successful sales, in a financial environment.
- Ability to act individually and within a team environment to achieve branch-wide goals and activities.
- Strong verbal communication skills to ensure co-workers and members understanding.
- Takes responsibility for addressing member concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ability to coach and mentor others in the absence of the Member Service Manager.
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task, handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel to branches as needed for coverage in different capacities.
- Maintain and NMLS# with the Federal Registry in compliance with the SAFE Act.
