Universal Banker II
We are seeking an experienced banking professional responsible for successful business development and excellent customer service to join our Hauppauge Branch.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15AM - 4:30PM
Universal Banker is a member of the branch management team who performs both Platform and Teller responsibilities.
- Supports branch management with business development initiatives, branch operations and regulatory compliance
- Identifies opportunities to sell Bank products and services to new and existing customers
- Delivers excellent customer service; researches and responds to customer inquiries
- Assists Manager with branch operations, end of day functions, prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Makes decisions regarding procedural questions, interprets bank policies pertaining to transactions
- Possesses current, in-depth knowledge of products and services. Opens, closes, sells and services bank deposit consumer loan products
- Makes overdraft decisions
- Possesses current knowledge and ability to properly execute regulatory and compliance requirements, including BSA, Reg CC, DD, and E
- Oversees Head Teller works as Teller when needed
Minimum 3+ years related retail banking experience including teller experience in a commercial bank preferred
Demonstrated success in achieving/exceeding business development goals
In-depth knowledge of bank products and services
Working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance and audit requirements
Outstanding customer service skills; prior teller experience
Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
College degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
