Responsibilities
Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.
+ Greet patients and visitors, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, distribute mail and perform other general clerical duties.
+ Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.
+ Type various reports and document for unit staff.
+ Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assemble and maintain patient charts.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Coordinator specializing in Healthcare preferred.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
