Education/Certification: Graduate of an accredited CNA program. Current CNA licensure in the state of Idaho. Current BLS certification and renewal as required. Knowledge of medical terminology, or must complete terminology course or within six (6) months of hire. Healthstream Computer System Annual Training.
Equipment/Technology: Basic computer knowledge.
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Able to calculate correct doses by applying necessary formulas as needed.
Mental Capabilities: Ability to problem solve and handle stressful situations. Able to multi-task and function at a high level with accuracy and efficiency. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Interpersonal: Ability to work well with others. The ability to work efficiently and effectively without close supervision. Knowledge of office support functions, including word processing, filing, receptions, gathering and compiling data, and balancing and coordinating a workload involving multiple projects and clients. Able to maintain confidentiality. Able to complete a variety of tasks. Able to deal with difficult client situations and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
