Job Description:
UNIT COORDINATOR - PER DIEM, DAYS
+ Processes and maintains the patient record, admission through discharge.
+ Maintains statistical data if applicable.
+ Assumes responsibility to complete all paperwork as designated by the charge nurse or Director.
+ Responsible for ordering appropriate amounts of office supplies for use on the floor in conjunction with the Director.
+ Demonstrates effective organizational skills by prioritizing and completing assignments within the shift.
+ Monitors charging system for floor and functions appropriately.
Required Skills
Communication:
Must possess verbal and written skills to communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse group of professional and non-professional members of the health care team, patients and family/significant others.
Typing/computer skills required
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
