As a Underwriter, you will:

• Prepare and review various ratings, analyzes cases and employs various underwriting risk assessment techniques depending on the appropriate approach for the specific customer.
• Use supporting documentation for analysis and makes recommendations internally to underwriting management and/or sales based on established authority level.
• Underwrite medical, pharmacy, and/or ancillary lines of business

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in group insurance environment and 2+ years experience working in underwriting environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $37- $39 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
