Underground Utilities Superintendent at Drewry Site Development

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Underground Utilities Superintendent to oversee the installation of underground utility systems. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of underground utility projects, including excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and backfill.
• Coordinate and oversee construction crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce safety policies, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Interpret and implement blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and material tracking.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding underground utilities.
• Procore Project Managerment Software
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in site preparation and earthwork operations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in underground utility construction.
• In-depth knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drain installation processes.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
