Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing sonographic examinations to capture diagnostic images of patients. Key duties include evaluating images, presenting findings to physicians, maintaining patient records, assisting in invasive procedures, and ensuring the upkeep of sonographic equipment.
Requirements:
- Perform and assess sonographic exams, documenting results and maintaining medical records.
- Assist healthcare teams during procedures and provide patient care as needed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Preferred certifications: R.D.M.S., BLS, ACLS.
- Associate degree in Ultrasound Technology and experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong technical, communication, and patient service skills.
- Ability to interpret medical terminology and navigate EMR systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
