Our client is seeking a dedicated

UltraSound Technologist

in

Georgetown, KY

to provide patient services using imaging modalities. You will operate ultrasound equipment for clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort, maintain records, and assist the radiologist with interventional procedures, such as paracentesis and needle aspirations/biopsies.

Key Responsibilities

:

Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.

Perform ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.

Assist radiologists with interventional procedures as ordered.

Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area.

Keep accurate records and help manage patient scheduling for ultrasounds.

Must-Haves

:

Willingness to fulfill on-call requirements.

Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasonography.

Associate’s degree.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography certification.

RRT (R) with a Kentucky License.

Option #1

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

On-call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month

Option #2

:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

On-call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month
