TITLE: Ultrasound Tech / ARDMS
LOCATION: Lexington, KY

Associates Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Sonography (S)
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Hours and Compensation:
Full time position: 2 options available-Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 8am-5:30pm or Wed/Thu/Fri 7am-7pm. Each position is required to take on call 1 day per week and 1 weekend a month.
Range is between $48K-$72K plus a full benefit package.
Additional Info:
The position reports to the Director of Radiology.
Ultrasound tech will receive patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
Assists radiologist with interventional procedures as ordered. (eg; paracenthesis, needle aspirations/biopsy.
