About the Job

Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and Radiology Supervisor, the ultrasound technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for physician evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include maintaining records of procedures and serving as a professional role model for student technologists.

Education and Training:

Graduation from an ultrasound program required.

Preference for sonographers registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or registry eligible.

Knowledge:

Good working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound principles.

Ability to operate GE LOGIC E9 ultrasound equipment and position patients for optimal imaging.

Familiarity with hospital policies and departmental locations.

Schedule: Full Time, Days, 3 - 12s Day Shift - no call.
