Position Overview:
IES Holdings, Inc. is hiring a UKG Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of UKG Pro and Workforce Management (WFM) systems. This role is critical for ensuring the functionality, stability, and enhancement of the organization’s time, payroll, and HCM processes. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge and a proactive approach to system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Configure and maintain UKG Pro and WFM modules, including timekeeping, payroll, and employee records.
- Data Management: Oversee imports, exports, data conversions and mass updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- System Enhancements: Lead system upgrades and identify opportunities for new feature adoption and process innovation.
- Configuration Expertise: Perform end-to-end testing for system configurations, such as employee benefits contributions, payroll deductions, accruals, and scheduling.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with HR and IT teams to provide exceptional user support.
- Innovation Focus: Dedicate 70–80% of time to identifying and implementing new system features, ensuring continuous improvement and competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR and IT teams to drive system strategy and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Security & Compliance:Awareness of Security SOX auditing compliance and related to data integration management. Maintain ITIL service management standards for SDLC.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12–15 years in HRIS or HCM system administration, including implementation and support experience.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in UKG configuration, SQL, and data imports/exports.
- Certification: UKG certifications in WFM or Pro preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address system challenges effectively.
- Process Improvement: Proven ability to optimize HR and payroll systems through innovative solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with ITIL service management and SOX controls.
- Experience supporting UKG systems in mid-sized or enterprise environments.
