Title: UI/UX Prototype Designer (Figma/Azure) (727253)Location: 1305 East Walnut StreetInterview: INTERVIEW DATES: Interviews will be conducted on [January 24, 25, 26]only to submit candidates available for interviews on the date(s) provided.This position will bring in expertise in interaction, user interface, and visualdesign (including illustration) to their collaborative UX environment and byworking with UI/UX lead to create polished, well documented visual experiences.The perfect candidate will be an important voice in creating different UIcomponents and creating UI designs that are best suited for mobile and web. In this role, you’ll be joining the product group in their UX sub-team. Thisteam creates the core experiences and building blocks that make up theirplatform-wide user experience and are the stewards for development of sharedstandards and components. This includes their design system, dashboards andreporting, graph visualization and case management, global navigation, and UIextensibility. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers anddevelopers, to understand project goals and user requirements. • Design and iterate on user interface and experience prototypes, ensuring aseamless and intuitive user journey. • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectivelycommunicate design concepts and functionality. Transform wireframes and conceptsinto visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. • Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design decisions,incorporating feedback into iterative design processes. • Stay updated on industry trends, design principles, and emerging technologiesto enhance the overall user experience. • Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity UI/UX designs, interactive prototypes,and design systems. • Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of design solutionsand maintain design consistency throughout development. • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides,and other documentation to support design consistency. • Advocate for user-centered design principles and collaborate withstakeholders to balance business goals with user needs. • Maintain and update design files, ensuring version control and organizeddesign systems in Figma. • Effectively communicate design decisions and concepts to both technical andnon-technical team members. • Collaborate with other designers to share insights, techniques, andcontribute to a creative and innovative design culture. • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driveninsights. Requirements: • Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasingdesign process, Figma proficiency and user-centered design. • Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure forcreating interactive prototypes. • Deep understanding of HCI principles, accessibility standards, user-centereddesign principles and usability best practices. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work withcross-functional teams and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly. • Familiarity with front-end development principles and an understanding oftechnical constraints, and the design handoff processes, including generatingassets for development. • In-depth knowledge of Figma features, components, and collaborationfunctionalities. • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, adapting toproject requirements and timelines. • Experience with user research methodologies, including usability testing andpersona development. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translateinsights into actionable design improvements. • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex HCI concepts and designdecisions to diverse stakeholders.
