Successfully completed Electrical Apprenticeship Programor graduate of a certified technical school and achieved Journeyman status.

5 years related experience and/or training; orequivalent combination of education and experience.

5 to 7 years related experience in a manufacturingfacility.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Abilityto write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectivelybefore groups of customers or associates of the organization.

Trained on NFPA 70E, Aerial Lift / Boom lift Certified.

Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequencydrives, and PLC / BMS controls. Ability to read complex wiring diagrams,identify electrical components, and extensive knowledge in troubleshooting ofcontrol circuits. Must be well versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohmmeters, meggers and amp-probes.

Uses guidelines from the National Electrical Code, localcodes, safety regulations and  standardpractices. Wears PPE and ARC Flash equipment while performing livetroubleshooting evolutions.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Ability to read and understand system blueprints,specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose ofsystem components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls,ducts, or pipes.

Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newlyinstalled machines and building equipment. Connects power supply wires tomachines and building equipment, connects cables and wires between machines andequipment.

Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers,motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives andlighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses.

Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components.

Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such asrelays, switches, sensors, motors, and positions sensing devices.

Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, andelectrical apparatus in buildings.

Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related toessential duties and responsibilities.

Performs preventative maintenance tasking on electricaland mechanical equipment.

As the Electrician, youll join a collaborative teamensuring that our clients can deliver their services uninterrupted. Based inGreensburg, IN, youll support the Facility Maintenance Team in thepreventative, corrective, and general maintenance of plant systems for theclient. Other duties include, but not limited to, daily assessments of systems,assisting other trades in performing general equipment maintenance and repair,maintaining a clean working environment, and other various duties as assignedby the Facility Maintenance Manager, while adhering to all safety and healthstandards. In this role, you will The install, trouble shoot, and repairfacility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus anddevices. To be successful in this role, the idea candidate will have knowledgeof motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, plc controllers, andpower distribution systems and be familiar with low voltage and fire alarmsystems.
