Job Description:
UAT Project Manager -
A Business Analyst/Project manager with experience in assisting collating Business requirements, User Acceptance Testing. From assisting a business to identify their requirements and document these. business analysis and project management activities in support of critical planning and execution of project deliverables.
Business description (Finance Project Group overview):
The Finance and Risk Project Group works closely with our business partner globally to deliver automation, re-engineering projects and strategic alignment projects. These projects facilitate consistent global reporting, mitigate and manage risks, improve financial controls, automate regulatory and management reporting, and perform transactional processing and general ledger posting. In addition, these projects impact significant firm business and major architecture initiatives.
Job Purpose:
A business analyst/project manager with experience of Finance. The candidate should possess business analysis, user testing /system implementation, and/or process re-engineering experiences. The role will be participating in business analysis, testing, and implementation activities in support of critical planning and execution of project deliverables. The role will form part of a wider Project Management Office function which is currently run out of London with representatives from London and Budapest. Activities will include process modelling, data analysis, business and functional requirements documentation, test specification, coordination and execution of user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities:
o Work with global PMO team supporting Geographical Revenue Attribution
o Work with Business teams to identify requirements and be responsible for Business Requirement Documents (BRD's), using use cases, workflow, screen mock-ups, and spreadsheet models.
o Analyze current business and system processes for potential areas of improvement.
o Coordinate with business and technology partners to get feedback and sign offs.
o Participate in functional requirements process with technology partners.
o Write test scenarios with the Business Users and drive UAT planning and implementation.
o Plan and develop high level plans including UAT and implementation timelines.
Experience (years, type, nature of work, specialized knowledge and technical skills):
o 4-7 years' experience in business analysis, project management, financial reporting, system integration, business transformation
o Be able to manage own work, project milestones and risks.
o Some financial knowledge a plus should be able to understand general ledger and accounting principles
o Experience in software development life cycle.
o Experience in system analysis and writing business and functional specifications.
o Experience in User Acceptance Testing
Qualifications (educational background, licenses, professional knowledge) & Skills (soft skills):
o Good communications including the ability to present ideas to stakeholders.
o Strong interpersonal, problem solving skills
o Understand the trade-offs and the limitations of technology.
o Agent of change.
o Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Access skills
o MS Project experience a plus
o Work effectively with remote teams.
o Self-starter able to execute with limited direct supervision.
o Bachelor's Degree; advanced professional qualifications are considered a plus.
