About the Job
The position:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist for (2nd shift) to operate different CNC milling machines in our shop utilizing FANUC operating systems. You will be operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture them into quality parts for customers. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am. This shift offers a 10% shift differential. Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times. This position offers a hire-on-bonus!
Job duties:
-Follow written instructions and read and apply blueprint specifications.
-Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.
-Is able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
-Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
-Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
-Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

The Right Person/What we need from you:
-Preferred five or more years of combined formal training and experience or equivalent.
-Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures.
-Ability to apply recognized tooling and procedures where tolerances are close
-Blueprint reading ability
-Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
-Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
-Should be able to read and write English. Basic computer skills a plus.
