About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
This position requires a Texas Secondary (High School) English certification.- Serve as the primary instructor for online K-12 courses. This will include assessment of student learning, evaluating student homework assignments, providing regular feedback to students.
- Communicate with students regularly including using online discussion boards, chat features, synchronous collaboration tools, email communications, and phone chat. Teachers will be required to respond to student questions within 48 hours.
- Regular communication with full-time/lead teachers and/or principals regarding grade turnaround, student performance, curricular alignment, students of concern, and other instructional issues that need to be discussed.
