We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Trust & Estates Paralegal to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has a deep understanding of labor and employment law, trusts, estates, probate, tax, estate tax returns, gift tax returns, 1041, 1065, 706, and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of trust and estates matters and will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to providing superior legal services.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and filing of estate tax returns (706) and gift tax returns (1041, 1065).
2. Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of trust and estate administration, including probate court filings, tax returns, and accountings.
3. Research and analyze complex issues related to trusts and estates.
4. Review and analyze important legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
5. Collaborate with attorneys to develop strategies for estate planning and trust administration.
6. Maintain and update client files, ensuring that all relevant information is organized and accessible.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
8. Conduct thorough legal research and draft memos, legal documents, and correspondence.
9. Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust & Estates Paralegal.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of labor and employment law, trusts, estates, probate, tax, estate tax returns, gift tax returns, 1041, 1065, 706.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal databases.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
8. Must have a strong understanding of AM Law.
9. Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is preferred.
10. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
