Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on a range of trust and estate matters, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate.
- Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle estate tax issues.
- Conduct research on complex legal issues related to trust and estate law.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to provide a comprehensive legal service to our clients.
- Stay updated with changes in trust and estate law and apply this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience working as a Trust and Estates Attorney.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in trust and estate planning, administration, and probate.
- Exceptional knowledge of trust and estate law, including estate tax issues.
- Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
- High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold our firm's reputation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
