Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal guidance and advice to clients in estate planning, business formation, special needs planning, and other related legal matters.
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, business formation documents, and estate planning documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives, developing tailored strategies and plans to protect and preserve their assets for future generations.
- Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of client assets, liabilities, and objectives to recommend appropriate estate planning solutions.
- Work closely with other members of the legal team, including partners, associates, and paralegals, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of legal services to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing trust and estates law, with a focus on estate planning, business formation, and special needs planning.
- LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and business formation documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
